Wait, is this real? Yes, this is real. After a mid-end season break/hiatus , I am bringing back the best fanfiction to never win any awards! It's time for some political antics with our favorite senate majority whip.

DDO House of Cards
Episode 11
Written by: Daytonanerd
=============================================================
The stakes are unbelievably high, now. Thett's resignation is imminent. He doesn't want to go through the national embarrassment of impeachment trials, so he'll probably resign in the next few days. We won't have to worry about him anymore. I don't even think Airmax will pardon the bastard, considering the $hit he's gotten himself into. One goal is on my mind. Getting that open VP slot. I can't let any of these other lackeys take the spot I've worked so hard for. However, I don't think Airmax will let me get that slot unless I pass this healthcare bill on through. However, there is one man standing in my way. One useless piece of $hit whose presidential ambitions are blocking my own. Daytona. The bastard.

He may not know it, but he may be the most powerful man in America right now. Now, it is my job to bring him down, and bring him down hard.

=============================================================
I met in Bsh's office, discussing some strategy over how to beat this so-called 'Iron Group'.

"The six senators in this group are blindly following Daytona's path. From what I can gather, they are doing this cockblocking in order to gain leverage when they want to pass future bills, like some kind of national medical marijuana legalization act."-Bsh

"I am really surprised that anyone in the world would follow that b!tch Daytona's lead. His leadership abilities are really some of the worst I have ever seen in this chamber, even worse than the Republicans. Also, I really doubt they are doing this so they can get leverage for some silly stoner bill. I think Daytona is misleading them, and he has some kind of ulterior motive."-Seventhprofessor

"That much is obvious. He is probably trying some kind of crapshot plan to get into the White House, since no one cares about his election paraphernalia that he passes out. Seriously, its way too early for any of us Democrats to try getting into the White House. AIrmax has a firm grip on that thing. He wouldn't lose in a primary."-Bsh

Haha, oh, that fool, Bsh. He thinks that a Democrat can only take his place in a primary. Such limited knowledge of the path to power is quite foolish. My plan to get into the White House is closer to fruition than even he realizes. The only danger is that Daytona may also know how close I truly am. I am counting on him, if he truly knows, to come up with an easily defeatable plan. Such is the trademark of his thought process.

"Alright, I'll have a talk with Daytona, try to talk some sense into the sap. If he doesn't listen to reason, then we have to resort to extreme measures. I am prepared to face off against such petty challenges."-Seventh

"Sounds good. I'll try to undermine his influence on the members of the 'Iron Group'. There's a lot of pork that I can promise them, due to my ties with some important people in the House. I am the Chief of Staff, after all."-Bsh

"I knew you would be a valuable and powerful ally from the start, Bsh. Thank you."-Seventh

"By the way, Seventh, before you go, there is something I need to tell you. Me and YYW are getting married!"- Bsh

"That's fantastic, Bsh! Where and when is the wedding at? And I'm invited, right?"- Seventh

"Well, of course, you're invited. We'll probably have it sometime during the spring, and now that they've legalized it, we'll have it in Florida!"- Bsh

"Great, right in my backyard. I'll be there to cheer two of my best friends on in their time of happiness! It sounds great. I'll see you soon, Bsh, and hopefully, we'll have the votes the next time we talk."- Seventh

Well Seventh and YYW are getting married. I'll have to destroy this couple quicker than I expected. If they are married, then it will be very messy, especially the aftermath. That's what I need to worry about next, after dealing with that abomination of a Senator.
=============================================================
Daytonanerd was finishing up a meeting with one of the members of his Iron Group, no doubt trying to reaffirm that member's loyalty.

"Alright man, make sure we stick to the plan, alright? And remember, titties, am I right?"-Daytona

That got a good laugh out of his office. Hell, even I had to let off a little bit of a chuckle.

"Senator Daytona, Seventhprofessor is here to talk to you"- Daytona's hot secretary

"Alright. Thanks for that. When I'm done, does b!tch wanna make me a sandwich?"- Daytona

His secretary didn't answer.

"Maybe I didn't say it loud enough. Ahem...

DOES B!TCH WANNA MAKE ME A SANDWICH?!"- Daytona

"Yes, sir."- Daytona's hot secretary

The secretary left the office, just making it us two alone.

"Sorry for the yelling. I am just reaffirming my dominance over her. B!tch needs to know that she has to make the sandwiches. I mean, the only reason I keep her around is that she has some rocking tits. I mean, titties, am I right?"- Daytona

"You are right. But now, we have to deal with men's matters."- Seventh

"I agree. Did you come to talk to me because you need some Viagra?"- Daytona

I gave him a look of astonishment and disgust

"I mean, it's a very common request around these parts. I always keep some around so I can sell it for a few bucks or two."- Daytona

"Daytona, that wasn't what I was talking about when I said 'Men's Matters'. I was talking about Healthcare!"- Seventh

"Oh. Well, they are pretty close to each other, penis pills and health care."- Daytona

"You... Oddly have a point. But back to what I was saying, I want to know why you are cockblocking my health bill! This bill is mandated by the White House! You are going against your own president!"- Seventh

"That's true, but I don't think going against the president is something that really matters to you"- Daytona

"And what the hell do you mean by that, Daytona?"- Seventh

"See, you may have all of these other fools here convinced, but I know your true motivations here. I know why you've done what you've done during this administration. It's painfully obvious."- Daytona

"You're bluffing. You're just coming up with some stories."- Seventh

My worst fears were coming true. He was coming close to the truth. I couldn't confirm it to him yet, if there was a chance he didn't actually know. But he knew. My worst fears were confirmed.

"I know you're going after the White House, Seventh. I know you are lashing out against not getting the Secretary of State nod. Now, you want to be President. I have been acting ignorant, but I have known for a long time. I want to be on your side though. You really need my help, now. You need the VP slot. But only with the passage of this bill can you get it."- Daytona

"And you think I don't have countermeasures to deal with you?"- Seventh

"For a fact, I know you don't. Your best plan is trying to get the president to scare me. But he's weak now. He can't damage me. Face it, you're plan is finished without me."- Daytona

"And what do you hope to gain out of all of this, Daytona?"- Seventh

A grin appeared on his face.

"Just some power in the Executive Branch. Nothing too drastic..."- Daytona

So did I, actually. :D. Luckily, the links to the classic episodes are right there, for everyone. I tried giving a little bit of backstory exposition in the opening of this one, but you would still have to read the other episodes.

How does it hold up compared to past episodes, in your opinion?

The dialogue, while always especially good in this series, was really, really exceptional this time. Also, for a relatively minor character, daytona's personality is extraordinarily consistent, and works really well as Seventh's antagonist. One of the best episodes by far (right behind episode 9 ;D).

Yeah, this series needed an antagonist, so who better than myself? ;)

Episode 9 is not a traditional episode of mine, per se. Rather, a stretched-out scene that lasted the span of an episode. I think this episode is my best, in having multiple scenes, and contributing to the plot.

Actually, thinking about it, one thing really bothers me about the series. Considering how his wife died, you'd think Seventh would be a lot less okay with having yay murder an innocent woman for the sake of politics.

Eh... Not really. All his sentimental feelings really went AWOL after his wife's assassination. It was just him and his thirst for power left. He didn't care about the process it took to achieve it. He feels vindicated in everything he does. He feels that it's the world against him, and that he doesn't give a damn what happens to the rest of it. Besides, with his twisted set of morals, he probably views the murdered woman as some low-life scum, different from his pure, innocent wife.
