I saw it yesterday.

Overall opinion: "meh."

Not bad but not nearly as good as the first Avengers movie.

I also wish I had not shelled out the extra $3.00 for 3D. It was a disappointment. More distracting then anything. I don't like how the 3D (a misnomer, btw; it's STILL 2D LOL) blurs everything in the background to create false depth. It was also a bit darker.

But that's not the movie's fault, I guess. It was OK. But it didn't really answer any big questions or introduce anything new. It was more of a set-up movie for the third and final part of the Trilogy, which they are going to break-up into two different movies. Yeah--like they did with Hunger Games.

I'm not into the romance stuff in the plot. I would have liked a bit more rock'em sock 'em and smart-aleck one-liners like in the 1st one.

I am also getting a bit tired of Bruce Banner's moroseness.

And, I am sorry, but Scarlett Johanssen is just not a very good actress.

Didn't really like the Russian chick, either.

Would have liked to see more of Paul Bettany's character. I understand there WILL be more of him in the next one.

The CGI was good. But I get tired of the shaky hand-held cam stuff.

Overall Grade.........6.5 out of 10.

I have the same opinion. Its strange that the villain never appears with a full out OP form. I mean.. come on he was never a real threat. There was never a sure threat from him, besides the fact that he wanted to destroy the earth. His bodily forms were always mediocre at best. It only took the avengers a few minutes to kill his strongest forms, and seconds to kill all of the others. It seemed like he was not as powerful as he was in the old comics.
