This is something I picked up on listening to The White Album and Nevermind the Bollocks way too many times. I might be imagining it but...

Everybodys Got Something To Hide (Except for me and my monkey):
Listen to the closing riff...
NOW!
God Save the Queen:
"Caitlyn Jenner is an incredibly brave and stunningly beautiful woman."

Keeping with The Beatles and the season, Does Weezers memories (0:40) not sound like Paul McCartney's wonderful Christmas time (0:30).

By the way Whosampled.com is great for seeing who used whos music. and it wouldn't surprise me if they took the riff from the Beatles, happens all the time.

I don't think the Sex Pistols ripped off the Beatles for one important reason:

- The rift throughout God Save the Queen is a standard rift - you'd find MANY different bands (especially Punk bands) which use this rift and I'd be surprised if the Beatles were the first ones to use it. I've heard it in metal bands as well and the occasional Indie.

But, even if they had, I would laugh. GO SEX PISTOLS!
I'm not back. This idiot just upset me which made me stop lurking.

It doesn't take anything away from God Save the Queen, since the rest of the song is entirely different.

Great website. I'm really into old school RandB music and a lot of rappers tend to (steal) sample from those songs :p
