The catch phrase for the network, TRUtv (formerly known as Court tv), is "Not Reality, Actuality." Their niche and premise is that they play programs geared towards real life drama's -- more of a documentary than sitcom.

I find this sensationalistic, disingenuous and misleading, because they present themselves as simply documenting non-fictional drama with shows like "Operation Repo," "Conspiracy Theory with Jesse Ventura," "All Worked Up," etc. Every one of the shows I just listed are fake, with payed actors.

It would be one thing to simply state that these shows are designed for nothing more than entertainment, but they intentionally leave out that it's pure bullsh*t to trick people in to thinking that they are watching real events when in fact they're staged.

I had a problem with their omission and wrote a nasty-gram to the network, to which I've received no response.
