Mob War- Day Phase 2

As the sun rises on a new day in the Big Apple, 14 nervous mobsters consider themselves lucky to be waking up alive. Death is inevitable in this line of work, but surprisingly, after the first full round of hostilities, everyone lived to fight another day.

The only death so far is Billy Flynn, the Teamster official who was executed at the order of Don Frank Vinci. This was in retaliation for the Teamster strike that shut down the Vinci's drug transportation into the city. Anticipating more violence, the Teamsters asked the FBI for protection for the picketers and union officials. Due to his burning hatred for Teamster president Jimmy Hoffa, Attorney General Robert F. Kennedy stubbornly refused that request. The Teamsters may be forced to concede to the Vinci demands that they return to work, or turn to the Corleone's for protection. By the end of the day we'll know which choice was made, and who'll be first mobster to be sleeping with the fishes.

I have a VITAL development. As Vito Scaletta, Underboss of the Corleones, I tested Mestari's statement "I am a Corleone spy," last night. The result: His statement is FALSE.

We'll see...although he looks like scum to me, what with his not explicitly saying he wins with the Corleones.

I'll be the first to admit that I can't, because I used my odd-numbered action to investigate the statement.

But besides--go back to Day 1 and see how often I kept on encouraging people to say the won with the Corleones.

I'll be the first to admit that I can't, because I used my odd-numbered action to investigate the statement.

In that case, I suggest a pressure on Mestari to challenge or verify his own statements....

yeah, i'll vouch for that. not from anything full-proof, but i got the impression this was his role early on; like he was being honest about it.

odd-numbered action, do you mean you can only investigate certain nights?

Now that I'm out, I'll go all out. Yes, and on even numbered nights I can be a watcher-type role.

nevermind, don't have to answer that. would be good for clarification but we can't be helping the mafia now can we.
