Bob and Fred attended a party and decided to crash there for the night. They both slept in the same room.

The next morning, Fred woke up, but Bob was dead.

Why and how?

Did one have any health problems?

Or lose the race to rats
Get caught in ticking traps
And start to dream of somewhere
To relax their restless flight
Somewhere out of a memory of lighted streets on quiet nights..."

Did the accident occur while they were in the bed?

This question makes some unproven assumptions. Please rephrase.

Did it occur prior to going to bed?

The cause of death? No.

Did Bob die while Fred was asleep?

Yes.

Did the room they slept in have any unusual features?

Please be more specific.

My question was essentially the same as "Did Bob die while Fred was asleep".

I withdraw...

Did Bob show signs of feeling unwell prior to the incident?

Was there anything missing or out of place in the room after the discovery?

Unusual in that they are not approximately 75% nitrogen, 20% oxygen give or take -+ about 10%.
