whats diplomacy(the game I mean)
Epsilon: There are so many stories where some brave hero decides to give their life to save the day, and because of their sacrifice, the good guys win, the survivors all cheer, and everybody lives happily ever after. But the hero... never gets to see that ending. They'll never know if their sacrifice actually made a difference. They'll never know if the day was really saved. In the end, they just have to have faith.

Here's a guide. Maybe Budda knows of a better one. It's basically a strategy-esque board game with seven players: England, France, Germany, Italy, Austria, Russia, and Turkey. And I'm terrible at explaining stuff so I'll leave it at that and let you read the link.

I use http://www.diplomacy-archive.com...

It has specific articles for beginning-middle-end game strategies, as well as articles for alliances and strategies, stalemate lines, negotiation strategies, as well as article by Alan B. Calhammer, the creator of diplomacy.

As well as some in-depth articles on strategies for opening alliance moves such as the Sea-Lion, Lepanto, Juggernaut, SwissStar etc.

My friend prefers Diplomacy, I prefer Mafia. Very similar genres of games. :D

For Beginner's I suggest reading the articles on Diplomacy-Archives for the basics, then once you get your country, read the specific article on strategies for your country.

The maximum time for a turn is 1 day, the next turn will begin immediately when all players complete their moves though. The game will start immediately when we have 7 players.

Most of the time, yes. Its more of a passing hobby than a hardcore one like mafia. Whereas a DP in mafia takes hours of your time and attention, the equivalent of a DP in Diplomacy might require 15-45 minutes of net time at most, depending on how much you message other players and WIFOM yourself over what another player is going to do. There's a crapload of WIFOM in this game.

The WiFOM reduces alot if you are allied with one, or multiple people that arent in a feasible position to actually backstab

It is ALWAYS feasible to backstab. The question is never "can I take him down with one stab" but rather, "how many people can I get to stab him with me, and can I successfully stab him as his corpse falls to the ground?"

Well actually, in the two previous games we played, we drew with a juggernaut, and I stabbed him and Zaradi and took the win in another. But C'MON, I was in a position to win without any way Zaradi or him could stop me XD, cant blame a guy for taking the win in that situation

In the juggernaut game we drew because of all the AFKs, there was no stabbing. In the other you didn't stab anyone really, Zaradi just refused to back off of me so that we could stop you from winning and he loaded up his forces on my doorstep as you took his backyard haha.

Typical Zaradi. He's a good policy-kill regardless of game. Just for a little giggle before we get serious.
