I got on but there was no mod. Kind of wandered around for a while, got bored, then left. Make sure to post whenever a mod is on.

I figured out the issue with the farm near the commons. Natively, Minecraft protects an area around the server spawn. Since the spawn point was inside the common build, the farm was protected.

I've eliminated this protection area, so the farm should be accessible from now one.

Also, we are going to implement a new strategy.

Throughout this week I will be building a NEW common area. It will be a Town. There will be a common starting building, as we have now, but also I will create sizeable plots within the town. Those that were part of the previous Minecraft Server will have an idea of what I'm talking about.

Something like this:

Only better.

The entire town will have some degree of protection from griefers in the same style as the current common room. There will also be plots of land that can be given to other players that they may customize if they wish.

The end result is, if you want a building or structure protected from griefers, everyone will have a place to do that; it'll just be in that Town.

While we are attempting to limit griefing in general (I have recently disabled TNT and Flint and Steel, and installed a block logging program) I am only going to strongly secure stuff within the town, rather than giving everything everyone creates protection.

I think the chest lock plugin is broken.

I just reinstalled it. Previous protections may have been wiped.

The new Common Town is up. I've moved the world spawn into the starting building. There is a crafting table and furnace for people to get started, along with free pick-axes. I've added a Noob Guide as well.

There are some issues with the Lots that I can fix tonight.
