Post a confusing sentence!

The English language developed over centuries. During that long period of time, it picked up words and grammatical features from a variety of different languages, making it a not-so-consistent creole-like tongue. This has allowed for all kinds of ambiguity in sentences; intentionally confusing sentences that were created to exploit these kinds of ambiguity as a form of humour are called "garden path sentences", and we are going to make some on this forum thread.

I will start with a confusing sentence, and each user below me would continue it with another confusing sentence, hopefully creating an entire story that makes sense in terms of meaning, but is impossible to understand unless explained.

Allot a lot of a lot to a Lot.

Vaarka swung his sword at the mod. However, since I am now incorporeal, he ends up accidentally striking the entire American landmass (It's a REALLY bastard sword), destroying both continents. Spiders are now at 50% of capacity.
