Active Players
1. annhasle
2. Grobino
3. M.Torres
4. bluesteel
5. vardas0antras
6. Charr
7. laleona

This game is designed to be very simple and is the core of all mafia games.

There will be no roles. Only a mafia team and a townie team.

Rules:

1. You may not screenprint your role pm

2. You may not be inactive for an entire day phase, otherwise you will be replaced

3. You must ask all private questions in your role pm.

4. You must vote for a person in bold Example: "Vote john"

5. You may unvote at any time in bold

6. Once a majority of votes has been obtained on a player in the day phase, or the mafia have selected him to be killed at night, the player will be lynched (removed from the game) and may not post in any of the threads or pms. The person is out of the game.

7. Townies may be considered for replacements

8. Please ask me unlimited amounts of questions via pms.

9. You may not communicate with anyone about this game in Private Messages unless I have created the Private Message and am a part of the private message. If anyone else is doing this, it is cheating. Report them immediately.

10. Please be active and post.

11. You may vote for a "No-Lynch" in bold. If there is a majority the game will proceed to the night phase. There is no real reason for doing this in this game as the mafia receive a free kill at night and there are no benefits for the townies.

Role PMs are being sent out currently. Mafia players will receive a PM which will inform them that they are mafia. A Private Message will be created between the mafia members and myself by myself. Townie players will receive a PM which will inform that they are townie and nothing else. No PM will be created for Townies. Mafia will know who the townies are and who the mafia are. Townies will not know who the townies or the mafia are.

The mafia goal is to survive without being lynched (voted off) during the day phase. They will try to kill off who they perceive to be the most valuable townie player at night. There will be two mafia players. When 5 townies have been eliminated, the mafia will win. The reason for is this because with 2 townies and 2 mafia, the mafia will just not vote. This will cause a "no-lynch" where no one is lynched and the game proceeds to the night phase where the mafia will kill off a townie and then lynch the next one during the next day phase as they will then have the majority of 2 to 1.

The townie goal is to prevent the mafia goal of winning and to eliminate all mafia players. The game will not end with a townie victory unless all mafia players have been eliminated.

As soon as a player has been lynched (voted out) the dead persons allegiance (townie or mafia) will be announced and the game will change from day phase to night phase. What this means is that the mafia will kill someone and have time to decide who they will kill. During this time there will be no posting in the day phase. After the kill has been decided, the next day phase will immediately start and the killed player will be announced along with his allegiance

I need replacements for this game immediately as 2 of the players have not been active on this site for a number of days. So please sign up for replacements (they will probably occur immediately)c

I wouldn't mind being a replacement, but that is still pending if you think it is okay.

Am I missing something other than the fact that I'm not a beginner?

I do think that it is good to have a few more experienced players (not necessarily veterans, but some games under their belt) to help get things rolling for the rookies.

Yes, "tour guides" can be especially helpful in newb games. If there is no one who has knowledge of the game playing, the educational benefit is lessened.

That being said 1st and foremost the players need to get on so that this is not just a discussion thread

It is currently Day Phase 1 (as in the thread title). The Night Phase will not begin until this day has ended, that will be announced by Wamba.

Wamba, I hope that you don't mind if others answer simple questions for the rookies.

Once a townie has been lynched ( a player on the townie team receives a majority of votes) or has been killed by the mafia (a player is selected by the mafia for removal during the night phase) then that player can be considered to replace ANY inactive player who is in the game.

The reason is that the player is not aware of who the mafia or other townies really are and thus can enter as a replacement without prejudice.

The advantages of using a dead townie as a replacement is that they are acquainted with the game and do not have to read through all the previous day phases.

A dead mafia player cannot re-enter the game as a replacement because they are aware of the other mafia player and it would be unfair if they replaced anyone. By reason of induction, the townies would know that they were mafia if they did not say anything (if this dead mafia player replaced an inactive mafia player) and if they ratted out their mafia players (if this dead mafia player replaced an inactive townie) it would be grossly unfair to the mafia and would abruptly and unfairly end the game.

1. The game always starts with the day phase.

2. Once someone has been lynched (a player has received a majority of votes) game will proceed to the night phase where the mafia will make their decision as a group. Once the decision has been made the game will immediately proceed to the next day phase

3. Day phases end with lynches (player removed from game due to a majority of votes)

4. Night phases end when the mafia have determined their kill choice.

I would ask that you don't although I thank you for the good intentions. The only reason I'm wary of this is confusing the current players of who is actually playing in this game.

We must vote someone to be lynched, if I understand correctly. That, or Wamba will switch to night phase for the mafia to vote someone out. I am not the most reliable source, but that is the way have figured it, so far.
