Here are some brain teasers and feel free to post riddles and other stuff for us to try and figure out.

"Though the river tells no lies the dishonest man standing on the shore, still hears them."

"The success or failure of your deeds, does not add up to the sum of your life. Your spirit cannot be weighed. Judge yourself by the intentions of your actions, and by the strength with which you faced the challenges that have stood in your way. The Universe is vast and we are so small. There is really only one thing we can ever truly control... whether we are good or evil."

"If you immediately know the candle light is fire, then the meal was cooked a long time ago"

"You cannot tell the depth of the river, until you see the bottom."
Demons run when a good man goes to war;
Night will fall and drown the sun
When a good man goes to war.
Friendship dies and true love lies,
Night will fall and the dark will rise,
When a good man goes to war,
Demons run, but count the cost,
The battle's won, but the child is lost,
When a good man goes to war.

Here's one:

A young emperor in Tang Dynasty China was seeking a wife to provide him with an heir so he sent an emissary to each of his three provinces with the instruction to return with the most beautiful maiden they each could find.

The emissaries duly returned to the palace with each with a stunning virgin in tow and they presented them to the emperor.

The emperor gave each girl 100 gold sycee ingots and asked them to return to the palace in one month.

One month later, the maidens duly returned and the emperor asked them what they had done with their sycees.

The first girl replied that she had spent them all on clothes and cosmetics to make herself look beautiful for the emperor.

The second girl replied that she had spent half on clothes and make-up and she had saved half.

The third girl replied that she had saved all her sycees.

So which one did the emperor marry?

Think about how badly you can embarrass them. You should always think about this because it heightens the pleasure when they cry. (whether they exceed expectations and by how much)
