"Pepsi is funding the research and development, and paying royalties to Senomyx, which uses HEK-293 (human embryonic kidney cells) to produce flavor enhancers for Pepsi beverages.
...
What they do not tell the public is that they are using HEK 293 " human embryonic kidney cells taken from an electively aborted baby to produce those receptors," stated Debi Vinnedge, President for CGL, the watch dog group that has been monitoring the use of aborted fetal material in medical products and cosmetics for years."

Oh, relax. They aren't actually putting those cells in the drink; merely, they are using them for research. Would you rather the cells be thrown out instead of being used for scientific development??

Actually, Pepsi is made from carbonated water, high fructose corn syrup, caramel color (which is just a food dye), sugar, phosphoric acid, caffeine, citric acid, and trace amounts of flavorings. Most of Pepsi is H2O, water, C12H24O12, Sucrose, C6H12O6, Glucose, and C6H12O6, Fructose, H3PO4, Phosphoric acid, and C6H8O7, Citric acid. Pepsi is sweet because it has at least three types of sugar in it, not because it contains cells from fetuses.

I wish I could go back in time to convince your mother to abort you.
