Answer as many as you feel comfortable:

1. Was shrooms a good experience for you(r friend)?
2. Did (your friend) have any cool epiphanies?
3. What tips could you give to a newbie?
4. Anything that should be avoided?
5. Does your friend recommend a low first dosage?
6. Did you feel like you lost control of your body?

I'll think of some more for my friend, but this is all he asked so far.

Drugs get in the way of taking life by the horns, Austen. Don't do 'em.

Oh, good heavens no! I'm stayin' clean. This is for my friend Jamal; he's a jovial African-American fellow.

Very pleasurable and entertaining.
2. Did (your friend) have any cool epiphanies?

Nope. I'm sure during there were countless amazing epiphanies, but a good 25 years later I can't remember a single one. I think who you were with tends to stick out much more than any deep thoughts, probably because your memory function is not quite normal during a trip.

3. What tips could you give to a newbie?

start a small dose. Be in comfortable happy place with friends. Don't plan on traveling. Don't have to work the next day as will be up a long time.

Do infrequently as tolerance will build up. Be safe. Realize it is illegal.

You will have a good time, but realize drugs that alter how your brain works is just that, they alter how your brain processes, so it can be pleasurable.

There is nothing noble about it, it does not make you cool, It does not give you life altering experiences on the positive side. It can give you life altering experiences on the negative side.

If you do it as a curiosity a few times do it. If you think it makes you a better happier cooler man then you are just delusional.

4. Anything that should be avoided?
Probably buying them. If I were to buy any I would only buy from someone who uses them too. Probably safer to grow your own

5. Does your friend recommend a low first dosage?
Yes, test the waters to see how your mind body responds first.

6. Did you feel like you lost control of your body?

No. I never saw much of the visuals as well.

I'll think of some more for my friend, but this is all he asked so far.

I have seen people on shrooms. They seemed to enjoy it. I've never taken any though.

2. Did (your friend) have any cool epiphanies?

Mostly they just acted like they were on a milder form of LSD.

3. What tips could you give to a newbie?

Idk... I've never done shrooms.

4. Anything that should be avoided?

I hear that you want to do shrooms in a positive environment to avoid a bad trip.

5. Does your friend recommend a low first dosage?

Sounds like common sense.

6. Did you feel like you lost control of your body?

I've never done shrooms, but I saw a guy wet himself while on them though. That was pretty funny -but he was drunk too, so there's that.

I'll think of some more for my friend, but this is all he asked so far.

I have no idea... I have never done shrooms.

I've answered this question on DDO numerous times, here we go again.

If you plan on shrooming, make sure you are going to be in an extremely comfortable setting. I shroomed at a festival before, which was very comfortable because I was around thousands of drugged-out hippies - there was no chance of being singled out by anyone too critical of my state. Unless you are going to be around thousands of drugged-out hippies, I strongly suggest fortifying yourself in a house with nobody having any possibility of entering it for at least 6-10 hours after you drop them. Take only a person or two that you are EXTREMELY comfortable around. That doesn't necessarily mean who you are dating either. Someone who is also going to be tripping that you have a very deep trust in. You don't want to encounter anybody that is going to be LOOKING at you because you are shrooming. I was tripping once and I went into this apartment and these people were chilling in the living room, and I mentioned I was tripping and I remember how all the faces just turned at me and everyone was just staring at me... God that was a mistake. Another time I was tripping and we were driving around and this fvkcing cop was following us around, he turned with us twice then we pulled over at some random house and just stopped and he creeped by, then we waited for fifteen minutes and turned on the ignition and I swear to god as soon as he put it in drive the fvcking cop pulled out of a street behind us and started following us again. I felt like the opening scene of Super Troopers... Anyway, just get a nice place where you can chill for hours and not be disturbed. You don't want to worry about non-tripping people looking at you weird, or cops or other authoritative personalities.
