Has anyone ever had a lump in their ear that lasts up to two weeks and a day and then one morning you woke up and felt something wet in your ear so you go to feel and to find some blood and yellow stuff on your finger? And the lump still being there, itchy and hurting?
Better than deserved, as ALWAYS.

ER now!

While I commend the "see someone" recommendation, it's probably not an ER-necessary visit unless GCL's hearing is impaired. It's a pimple or abcess, something along those lines. It should be looked at. But if you've got a PCP GCL, call 'em up. Office visits are a heckuva lot cheaper than ER visits.
