exercise? releases endorphines. kind of a temporary relief, but it does somewhat work for me. also try a shower/hot bath or a heating pad. or, if you're on a laptop, rest the hot part on your tummy. hehe.

I don't get pain too often with it (though since mom forced me onto birth control it hurts alot more around those times)

The best I can say is warm, like hot chocolate, or warm showers or baths. Not exactly an expert but I'm hurting right now so I'm about to take a shower. It helps with most pains, so why not?

I don't get pain too often with it (though since mom forced me onto birth control it hurts alot more around those times)

The best I can say is warm, like hot chocolate, or warm showers or baths. Not exactly an expert but I'm hurting right now so I'm about to take a shower. It helps with most pains, so why not?

really?? i thought they usually prescribed birth control to teens who had especially BAD menstrual pain because the pill decreased it. weird. are you sure its the pill? it seems to me like my periods have been getting more painful as i get older.

Well I'm on the shot. When I would normally be getting my period (I only had the first one, the next one is due in like a week) it hurts really bad. I'm just now also bleeding a little bit with it. (not enough to justify even a tampon for lighter days. But it has been for like 8-9 days so far)

And yeah I know. I have nothing but bad things to say about birth control, heres my tip, if your a virgin, plan on remaining that way for more then a month, and periods don't bring pain or mess you up that bad, don't use birth control. That sh*t is messed. I'm like 8X more hormonal and emotional then before, plus I just got out of the shower and I'm hurting again lmao. Plus my desire to eat cheesecake has intinsified. (sorry I ranted about that. Now I sound like every other female complaining about the monthly cycles)

My sister takes that stuff regularly in order to avoid her monthly cycle. At least she used to since the shot would apparently stop it. That can't be very good for you though.

I don't like periods because their messy, feel disgusting, and smell like poison. Seriously idk whats up with my smelling or if i that noticable and no one says it, but I can't smell a really stinky diaper or two but if I'm in the same room as someone on her period I feel like throwing up.

Its not that bad, you can skip 3 and be pretty healthy as long as you have a big one after that to release all the fluids built up. Thats why it only works for three months and why you need to wait a month before getting the next one. Some people are actually able to get it without waiting the month, and thats whats not healthy.

And badger yes your creepy. This is a girls only thread. I suppose cjl can stay because he knows about the emotional trauma-time of the month, but all you care about is being a pervert.
