Excluding genuine religious exemptions, should vaccines be mandatory? This really is more of a philosophical question than a practical one.

I dont agree that genuine religious examples should justify anything.

Its quite contradictory to equal rights in fact. Why do religious beliefs trump a athiests beliefs?

Furthermore, you have issues like JEhovahs Witness's refusing blood transfusion and getting very sick or even letting children die.

Lastly, not vaccinating your kid doesnt just affect you. It affexts herd immunity.
Your not just risking your child, but your risking others.. like babies, who cannot get vaccinated early on, or immunosupressed populations (HIV patients, chemotherapy patients, etc..)
