Duh? It happens whether you're at a computer or starting at a TV. Your eyes can't handle that much strain all the time, staring at a brightly-lit screen for hours on end.

The Wikipedia doesn't say anything about light, it says it's caused by focusing on something so close for such a long time and not blinking often enough.

Like tunnel vision, and etc. Lighting also plays a factor - look harder, Freedo. It was in the first few paragraphs.

Happened to me when I helped my dad play EQ2 all day. I played a character helping his and d*mn that was tedious.
