Placebo effect in life extension

If you believe that X (such as drinking tiny amounts of wine each day, spending more time outdoors, etc) will increase your lifespan, can that belief in itself help increase your lifespan? Same principle as believing you took a painkiller causing the pain to actually decrease.
Is it feasible?

I never thought about this. I know the placebo effect is able to increase health, but life expectancy? Maybe short term. Long term? I don't know.

Well, logically the placebo effect can produce health benefits, those benefits could increase your life span, so yes it can, but it probably has limitations.
Meh!
