Germany. Specially the Hitler era. I find the period holds a kind of dark interest for me. Hitler's speeches, the editorials during that time, it's fascinating. Plus, I haven't found a parallel to the level of atrocities committed during that time.

Modern America (1980-present) and Sparta's history. They actually killed some babies by throwing them off a cliff if they deemed them to be "too weak." No joke.

US history in general, including some of Canada's

Ancient Greece, mainly their wars and culture/religion.

Most wars, mainly WWI and up, but some earlier ones.

Seriously? A history forum. It really comes to show how long it's been since I've been here...

Anyway, I'd say I'm fond of Italian history. Rome and the Renaissance have always been fascinating eras to me.

Egypt, Tyrkia (The ottoman empire etc), Iran, and mostly Arab history. I also have some interest on the European history and the history of China. Not a lot of people know this but I'm in fact very interested in history. I have read many books on it. Mostly about the Arab history and about the Islamic golden age.
