What are some historical events that you agree were probably necessary and rational, but still piss you off?

One of mine is the decimilization of the Pound. Yeah the old system was convoluted but it had a charm to it that 100 pence to a pound just doesn't. Farewell shiny sixpences.

What he said. The fact that Hitler and the Nazis believed in what they did sickens me. How many innocent people died is just horribly sad. Many other reasons.

How is that a rational event though? It's sickening under essentially any standard. My example was something that makes sense, should've been done but still irks me..thats what I was wondering about, not atrocities in history

Well WWII was rational, but the Nazi beliefs and other things I mentioned piss me off, and they were major parts of WW2.

Not WWII. Its start wasn't really rational. WWI is a better example. It was the consequence of European colonialism and power struggles - sure, it had a good reason, but that reason still pisses me off.
I'm becoming less defined as days go by, fading away, and well you might say, I'm losing focus, kinda drifting into the abstract in terms of how I see myself.
