I'm writing a book about the most significant assassinations in world history. I've thought of the assassinations of:
-John F. Kennedy
-Robert F. Kennedy
-Abraham Lincoln
-James A. Garfield
-William McKinley
-Harvey Milk
-Jesse James
-Julius Caesar
-Franz Ferdinand
-Lee Harvey Oswald
-Martin Luther King, Jr.
-Malcolm X
-Alexander Hamilton

any other ideas?

Oh and Mahatma Gandhi, and Osama bin Laden. Not sure if Laden counts, though.

Archduke Franz Ferdinand

Oda Nobunaga

If you're going to put Harvey Milk on your list, IMHO the threshold becomes quite low. What about the dozen plus Roman emperors that were assassinated?

Out of your list, judging by the effects that their assassinations had, Ferdinand and Caesar at the most important.

I thought history was useless?

There's a gradient. History places higher than philosophy/language, but lower than STEM.

Alexander Hamilton wasn't even assassinated. He was killed in a duel with Aaron Burr.

Just wait. I'm sure Bill O'Reilly will cover them all in book format.
