Rules are as followed.
There are ten slots, each person can fill one slot with a great historical general. Only one per person.

If you nominate someone, put your username next to the general, so I know you made your nominations.

After ten people have been chosen, then goes the "voting stage", where people vote on which nominated gneral should be chosen. After two weeks a "General of the month" is chosen, with a pinned thread dedicated to discussions of his/her life and his/her achievements. Nominations are not the same as votes, you can nominate a gneral in one thhread, and vote for another in the second thread.

Here is the list. I will nominate first.

1. Khaled Ibn Walid (UtherPenguin)
2.
3.
4.
5.
6.
7.
8.
9.
10.

He's basically a general, right? I mean -- he led the people in the form of a general. If you deem Genghis worthy, go ahead and add him. If not, I'll nominate someone tomorrow. :)

You can nominate him right now. Just add his name to the list.

1. Khaled Ibn Walid (UtherPenguin)
2. Alexander the Great (PetersSmith)
3. Bernard Montgomery (Blackflags)
4. Genghis Khan / Subutai [single entry since Subutai was basically Genghis Khan's right hand, and without Subutai, Genghis Khan isn't much of a general] (Tejretics)

Somebody nominate Hannibal Barca of Carthage, so it can become Khaled Ibn Walid vs. Genghis Khan / Subutai vs. Hannibal (three best medieval/ancient military generals).

Oh nevermind, Coletrain is nominating Genghis Khan.

Recall my vote, and add Hannibal Barca instead.
