Since EU4 is related to history... Who else plays EU4? What are you currently doing in the game?

I used to play, it's a pretty fun and challenging game.

Did you ever download the extended timeline mod?

If you still play it, I suggest you download it. It doesn't really change the game play of course, it just adds more events in the future and extends the time line.

Currently, I'm playing as the Chinese Republic in 1930, and I am trying to overtake part of Japan.

For the 100th time, it's EUROPA

Underlying most arguments against the free market is a lack of belief in freedom itself. -Friedman

Nothing is so permanent as a temporary government program. - Friedman

Society will never be free until the last Democrat is strangled with the entrails of the last Communist.

That's a good game, but much more fast paced.

I was considering playing that game, it must be a little more interesting than WW2 in EU4's extended timeline mod.

I'm a total EUIV addict, I have something like 700 hours on my steam account...

Right now I have three games going that I switch between:

The first is a 'what if the norse colony in Newfoundland survived?' game with a custom nation on Newfoundland. Right now it's the mid 1600's and I have pretty much all of North America and most of the Caribbean secured. Burgundy, Savoy and Spain split France between them a century ago and Bohemia became emperor after taking a ton of Austria's and Bavaria's land.

The second game is with Brittany, I've taken a chunk out of France (with the help of all of France's rivals) and plan to book it to the new world before the big blue blob regains it's strength (France inherited Burgundy after the war so the clock is a' ticking).

The third is a Korea game that I just started, nothing much has happened yet but I have a feeling that things are about to go down.

When did you start, and did your aggressive expansion and over-extension ever become a problem?
