http://www.cracked.com...

This is a joke thread for all my socialist brothers and communist comrades.

This is meant purely for humor, though I only expect that to last for a page or two.

Capitalism and socialism are not different things. They are merely two parts to the same system. One can adjust the balance, but only to a point.

Capitalism is the objective and socialism is the inevitable band-aid for the well-established externalities that follow. Blaming the scabs for the wound is what our libertarian friends like to do... and if you would wonder how they could possibly get along this way, look no farther than the economics thread- their ideas are buried under layers of nonsensical neoeconomical BS which is based upon faulty assumptions (e.g., infinite growth is possible, all externalities are accounted for, etc). Garbage in garbage out.

Looks like you forgot to factor in Rob. The very first response, and you were actually taken seriously.

Wait, how did socialism vs. capitalism even come into play here? There was just a set of funny capitalism-gone-wild pictures.

I used to have one of those Charizard cards. Are those worth something or something?

Yes, I believe in the original set, Charizard was the rarest. And so, since it is the rarest of the original set, it is extremely valuable. Like the Alpha Black Lotus for Magic.

I've never played Magic, so I have no idea.

But, as for the other bit--GOD DAMNIT.

I thought number 16 was the funniest.

It would certainly be the most fun to do.
