Delphine LaLaurie.

...Over a dozen disfigured and maimed slaves were manacled to the walls or floors. Several had been the subjects of gruesome medical experiments. One man appeared to be part of some bizarre sex change, a woman was trapped in a small cage with her limbs broken and reset to look like a crab, and another woman with arms and legs removed, and patches of her flesh sliced off in a circular motion to resemble a caterpillar. Some had had their mouths sewn shut, and had subsequently starved to death, whilst others had their hands sewn to different parts of their bodies. Most were found dead, but some were alive and begging to be killed, to release them from the pain.

Gore... Someone should make a movie out of this...

Apparently, Vlad the Impaler wasn't a very nice chap.

Also, according to some elderly European Jews, Adolf Hitler was quite disagreeable on occasions.

If you asked a chicken it would probably say the most evil person ever was Colonel Sanders.

Given that you were fluent in chickenese, of course.

According to my quick bit of research, most of that is folklore and exaggeration. Can you provide your source?

As for your question, these are pretty good lists IMO.

I saw this on cogitz. ( http://cogitz.com...). But a double check on wikipedia provides quite a list of newspaper articles of 'The Bee' (http://nobee.jefferson.lib.la.us...) and (http://nobee.jefferson.lib.la.us...) which makes me think it was probably true. They are quite old so the words aren't that clear, but you can just make out what it says. Specifically since the slaves were kept in prison for a little time after there rescue and it was too reported. (though the article link isn't working).

And there's this book too, http://books.google.com.au... , but it doesn't really prove anything. It's just interesting.

As for your question, these are pretty good lists IMO.

I find closet freaks more fascinating than kings/ generals committing atrocities. Like for me, Ian Brady would rank above Attila the hun in terms of evil-ness.

Not exactly. The story of the 'evil' kings is mostly the same- spoiled by power. In the case of normal people, the motives are more interesting. For psychological point of view.
