Tell us what is your favorite city here in the United States of America.
It does not have to be a very popular one now. Just let us know why you think that particular area is so special. Thanks.

San Diego, probably. It's got it all. Temperate climate year-round, laid back atmosphere, no shortage of outdoor activities (scuba, snowboarding, surfing, hiking), a great nightlife, etc.

1 - Dallas, TX

Everything is twice the size of everywhere else and the girls are mostly blonde, beautiful and, best of all friendly. Plus it's warm and sunny most of the year.

2 – St Pete Beach, FL

Superb beach, beautiful sea, fabulous weather all year round (except in the hurricane season) and the best beach bar in the world – The Undertow.

3 – New York, NY

Just like London but with taller buildings and more guns.

LOL Nothing good, right?
My aunt lives there, so I spend a lot of time down there in the summer, and around the holidays (occasionally).

Of course it was good. I heard about The District. I also know about the hit tv show on PBS. Austin City Limits. This is a very popular, culturally diverse town.

Chicago in summer and fall. Gorgeous is the best word to describe it.

Austin year round.

Best: Honolulu. Spectacular tropical setting, Hawaiian and Eastern cultural influences, food, and big enough for city conveniences. Alas, remote.

Runner up: San Francisco wins for the natural beauty of the setting, cool climate, and food. It's good that there is free thinking there, but it edges on being a nonsense zoo.

San Diego, Seattle, Tucson get high marks. On the East Coast, maybe Alexandria or some other small city near Washington. Maybe Nashua, NH.

I went to school in Boston: wretched climate, ornery people. Bottom of my list.

World's best: Sapporo, Japan; Sydney, Australia

I never been to America. The most attractive place to me is New York City. Everything seems spectacular in America. It is a beautiful country.
