To be honest if you were to ask me what my top 5 worst songs were and that song entered my head I would most likely include it.
"Music is a zen-like ecstatic state where you become the new man of the future, the Nietzschean merger of Apollo and Dionysus." Ray Manzarek (The Doors)

I would say that Beethoven's 5th Symphony is generally regarded as the best piece of classical work, but that rests on the assumption that a classical piece would be the greatest to begin with. This question must be put into context; different genres of music cannot be easily compared.

I would start naming off other genres but there are so many to consider... The religious pieces prior to the classical period, folk music, all the variations of rock... blues, jazz, hip-hop, country, pop... You can't just say "best song ever." That's like asking who the best person ever was, or what the best place on Earth is. I made a thread about the best rap song ever and I suggested tentatively that it is Biggy Smalls' "Notorious Thugs." Garth Brooks is by far the greatest Country artist, so perhaps one of his tunes would take the top in that category. The Beatles and Elvis (along with Brooks) are the top-selling artists of all time so they would round out the pop category but I don't know enough about all these older artists to know which song is the best. The Stones would be included in a classic rock discussion, Metallica in hard rock, Nirvana in alternative rock. Michael Jackson would have to be up there somewhere (Billie Jean is his best IMO).

But one thing is for sure, and that is that that piece of garbage in the OP would be about 999,999,999,999 songs down in a list of all-time greats.

The best song ever in my opinion.

Good video as well, and is funny.

Liking a national anthem =\= racist. You like Russia's anthem, and although they have elections it is elitist rule there, see Putin.

I love that song. That is one of my favorite songs on the "favorite songs" part of my profile.

But my favorite song is John Paul Jones by Johnny Horton.

If you like Dixie, you will like Johnny Horton.

I wish they made more songs like that one. That one was made in 1960.

This is the best song ever
