For those unfamiliar with the concept of dead pools, here's the Wikipedia article on this type of competition:

http://en.wikipedia.org...

I propose we each name three celebrities and receive a point for each one that dies before the end of the year. A bonus point will be awarded if the deceased in under 60 years old and two bonus points if they are under 30.

The celebrities should be well-known enough to be recognised by most members so, for example, some obscure conceptual artist from Turkmenistan should be challenged by the other members. We should probably rule out someone who is only famous for being the oldest person alive in America, or wherever!

I'll go first then...

1 - HRH Queen Elizabeth II
http://en.wikipedia.org...

2 - Prof. Stephen Hawking
http://en.wikipedia.org...

3 - Amy Winehouse

BRIAN EGGLESTON >(
: If you weren't new here, you'd know not to feed me such attention. This is like an orgasm in my brain right now. *hehe, my name is in a title, hehe* (http://www.debate.org...)

Just in case I get into some BS with FREEDO again about how he's NOT a narcissist.

"The law is there to destroy evil under the constitutional government."
So... what's there to destroy evil inside of and above the constitutional government?

I'd be very sad if he died but t's not a wish list - if it was it would be:

1 - Cristiano Ronaldo the dirty, cheating Real Madrid one trick pony centre forward

2 - John Redwood the extreme right-wing Tory politician

3 - Cristiano Ronaldo again

I was going to say Lance Armstrong and say that cancer isn't like the chicken pox, you can get it twice, but he's 3rd in le tour right now and I have to give him credit for that.

Oh yes, Thatcher, good one! She's ancient and always in and out of hospital.

I meant to the end of 2009 but I suppose it could then be extended to allow people to replace people that have either died or that seem quite healthy.
