Ok, here's the deal, for this game I have a maximimum of 10 people (this may change) and it is first come first serve. You get points for picking the winner in elections and around the world, based on the position of the person being elected.
You can also pick propostitions.

THE RULES

1. The scoring is as follows: If you are right in picking

The head of state/President - 5 Points

Congressional/Parlimentary - 3 Points (Can only pick 3 in Countries election cycle)
Govenor/Anything similar - 3 Points
State/Province Referendum/Propostition - 2 Points
Other - 1 point

2. All Ten players will have a running tally of points.

3. The time when this game will end is TBD and may vary between game

4. All predictions need to be in BOLD

5. I can add new rules as needed

Interesting, I might join with this, but I'd want to see more participation before I do.

Because we know the Social Democrats of Germany present no challenge to Merkel and the CDU.

Lol, all the pre-recession governments are being voted out. Besides, the Socialist party o' Germany got nearly the same amount of votes.

Would we both win if they went into a coalition?

Ah, I wish that were true. Look up the "Harper government," and you'll see why I don't think it will be the reality in Germany. The CDU is still popular at the moment, and the SDP doesn't have a strong enough leader to beat them.

Would we both win if they went into a coalition?

Interesting question. It would technically still count as a "win," though you could argue that it was only "half a win," since the other party you didn't pick would control half the government.
