I heard on Top Gear that the Mclaren F1 was first production car made from carbon fiber but a couple hours later I hear (on Top Gear) that the Porsche 959 was the first carbon fiber production car. Anyone know for sure?

The Mclaren was the first. The Porsche 959 used a steel monocoque chassis.
