Ted Sorensen

He was JFK's speech writer, and perhaps one of the only good things about his presidency.

He's the person who wrote famous quotes like, "And so, my fellow Americans: ask not what your country can do for you — ask what you can do for your country," "We choose to go to the moon," and "Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable.."

In high school debate competitions, Sorensen is reported to have been able to write his speeches that incorporated chiasmas and other memorable literary techniques during prep time.

Clarence Darrow: technically not sure if he counts as a speech writer as most of it was on the spot with a vague idea what he was doing.
Give a man a fish, he'll eat for a day. Teach him how to be Gay, he'll positively influence the GDP.

Ben Stein.

Just because of his voice.
Think'st thou heaven is such a glorious thing?
I tell thee, 'tis not half so fair as thou
Or any man that breathes on earth.

He had an almost violent passion in his speeches that were full of Nazi propoganda. His passion got into the minds of millions of Germans and so WWII started.

He was a brilliant orator. I'm glad you love him as much as dustpelt and I do.

lmao, I wish I was there to shout out all of the answers and elaborate on what the teacher was saying, so the other students in the class would collectively dislike me and feel intimidated. High school memories <3

He was one of the best orators of all time. While I didn't agree with what he said, I can respect his speech making abilities.
