Japan has many wonderful web cams. The most spectacular is the NTT Docomo cam of Mount Fuji viewed from Mitsu-touge pass, Yamanashi. http://camera.mvkofu.com... You can watch the seasons change, with snow on the foreground trees in winter and the snow cap on Fuji-san growing in the winter. Japan time is California time minus eight hours plaus a day. The scene is often enough lost in fog. It was clear yesterday:

There is directory of Japanese webcams sorted by region at http://livejapan.org.... Look for the live feed of the iron bridge in Nikko (Kanto region), the snow monkeys in Nagano hot springs {Chubu), and Odori Park in Sapporo (Hokkaido). Odori Park is elaborately decorated with lights in December.

Do you have a favorite webcam?

I browse the site Earthcam.com once in a while. There is also a mobile application. I like looking at Japan too, particularly Tokyo. But I mostly prefer some cities in the US, such as New York or Seattle. One of my favorite is the Times Square Cam. http://www.earthcam.com...

That's so cool! It reminds me of the Huntington Beach webcam in Hollister stores.

This is my favorite webcam: a hunting area as seen through the scope of a shotgun:
