It is a pet peeve of mine, when people misuse the term "Literally" when they are referring to something figurative.

THIS. One reason I despise Joe Biden.

And the word gaffe. People seem to not understand what it means, and what that entails.

"Hubby" and "boyf" instead of "husband" and "boyfriend" really tick me off.

"My better half" makes me seethe as well.

And "partner" isn't much better, unless you are a lawyer or cowboy and are referring to a colleague.

Grrr!

I can't stand it when people use the words bigot racist Nazi and the like because you oppose some political view point. It makes the real meaning of the words worthless and trivial.
It's not your views that divide us, it's what you think my views should be that divides us.

If you think I will give up my rights and forsake social etiquette to make you "FEEL" better you are sadly mistaken

If liberal democrats would just stop shooting people gun violence would drop by 90%

I can't get through a sentence without using it unless I'm speaking super quickly about something interesting. But in most instances I sound like a valley girl.

It seems like the same as calling Great Britain England. It used to be what they were called but now the name has changed.
