Ok heres how it works, there are a ton of famous people in the world, many of them are close to death if not on deaths doorstep. And while the death of a famous person is always sad, there is still a way to make their deaths more fun, as cynical as that may sound.

Enter, the Celebrity Death Gambling Game

Heres how it works. Everyone here gambles on who they think is going to be the next famous person to bite the dust, and you may get to pick more then one person to bet on based on how high your Elo is.

RULES:

1) Elo determines how many picks you get. Take your Elo, divide by 1000, round up or down to the next highest integer, thats how many picks you get. You dont win Elo points if you predict correctly, its just a way to limit how many people you can bet will die next.

(4110 / 1000 = 4.11 which rounds down to 4, so I get 4 picks. Do the same with Your Elo to see how many you can pick.)

2) Anybody can place a wager at any time they want in the game. This allows new people to jump right in.

3) A famous person can only be bet on once. (2 people cant bet on the same person they think will die next)

4) Every time a prediction is successful and someone dies, a new round/thread starts. This is so that picks based on Elo can be updated and so that people can pick different people to bet on (if they want to change their picks)

5) Not a rule, but I put this in the misc section so that people can find it better. The way the games section works is that new threads get buried beneath other new ones in a matter of hours whereas this section gets far less traffic.

Any questions, feel free to ask. Begin!

1. Khalid al-Habib - al-Qaeda field commander

2. Saad Bin Laden - Osama's son

Not exactly celebrities but those are my picks.
Tell me if I can't use them.

Saad bin laden works but Khalid al-Habib doesnt. If you type in "Khalid" into google, the suggestions comes up with 10 people with none of them being the one youre referring to, so id pick again

"The Collectivist experiment is thoroughly suited (in appearance at least) to the Capitalist society which it proposes to replace. It works with the existing machinery of Capitalism, talks and thinks in the existing terms of Capitalism, appeals to just those appetites which Capitalism has aroused, and ridicules as fantastic and unheard-of just those things in society the memory of which Capitalism has killed among men wherever the blight of it has spread."
