Ha, my dad did the 'say what we actually did today' one ALL the time. I can credit my inordinate fondness for pyrotechnics to his escapades.

And I especially loved the 'when your kids use your logic against you' one. Partly because I remember a few times I did that with my parents, and partly because my mother is actually watching Castle in the next room.
