I had to abbreviate generation to fit it.

I think it may be know for being the generation that stopped making good music.
And obviously it's the youtube generation.
Also, possibly one of the largest Libertarian revivals in history.
What do you think?

Seriously? There is so much good music around now it's not funny. Of course, if you only listen to commercial radio you wouldn't know that, you have to find it.

Download anything by Against Me, Tom Gabel, the Presets, PNAU, Tame Impala, the Mars Volta, the Arctic Monkeys.... I could go on. These bands have all released killer albums in the last year or two.

Agreed, but what I mean is there is this lame kind of pop scene that seems to be taking over.

Yeah I despise all that crap, and agree that it makes up a majority of what you'll hear on the radio. But our generation has certainly not stopped making good music, some of the stuff coming out these days is brilliant, genius.

I guess I have a bad taste in music then because I like most of the mainstream stuff I hear from this generation, but mind you I'm the type of person who'll listen to almost anything as long as it's music.

As long as Jimmy Buffett's still alive, we have good music.
It is odd when one's capacity for compassion is measured not in what he is willing to do by his own time, effort, and property, but what he will force others to do with their own property instead.

Then you might have a problem with the mars volta, despite their awesomeness.

I would say hmmm well I need you to define generation.

But music is clearly out of the option. You want good music you go see Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra

Lulz a woman after my own heart. I love the entire Rat Pack. Plus, my family is 100% Italian so Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin are like gods.
