In the Pokemon world, how would food work? Would just about any Pokemon be up for grabs? Would you be able to eat Oddish and still count as a vegetarian? he reason this is interesting to me is because all Pokemon seem to be domesticated as pets, and that seems to be a general qualm with eating animals like dogs and cats.

Everyone just eats Magikarp because they are worthless.

I've only seend them eat apples and junk. Although I'd imagine pokemon eat each other all the time. They keep some pokemon as cattle, so yeah, I guess they do eat some of them. I bet Snorlax would feed a village for months.

I sort of imagine Snorlax being like whale meat. Personally, I think that a Psyduck would taste delicious.

He's right, they do keep them as cattle, and harvest them for their milk. Moo Moo Milk! So why not eat them? There are fishermen! Do those fishermen really want to catch more Pokemon when they have a useless party of 6 level 10 Magikarp that only know Splash? Doubtful.

Epsilon: There are so many stories where some brave hero decides to give their life to save the day, and because of their sacrifice, the good guys win, the survivors all cheer, and everybody lives happily ever after. But the hero... never gets to see that ending. They'll never know if their sacrifice actually made a difference. They'll never know if the day was really saved. In the end, they just have to have faith.

If you ate a Mr. Mime, would that count as like, murder and/or cannibalism? Because Mr. Mime are pretty humanoid Pokemon.
