so for my composition II class I have to write a story including vocabulary in a list we got. now I am trying to continue a story from previous lists, but because of the plot/topic of the story some of the words don't technically fit with their literal meaning. (I can give the topic and the previous stories if need be)
Epsilon: There are so many stories where some brave hero decides to give their life to save the day, and because of their sacrifice, the good guys win, the survivors all cheer, and everybody lives happily ever after. But the hero... never gets to see that ending. They'll never know if their sacrifice actually made a difference. They'll never know if the day was really saved. In the end, they just have to have faith.

are you required to use the vocabulary with the defintions provided? Or can you use alternate meanings to those provided words?

I can use them metaphorically. like abstemious. it means showing restraint with food or drink. I used it in the sense of killing or blood.

well there ya go, you have plenty of leeway to continue the story :)

if you want some help plot wise, or perhaps with a fresh perspective i suppose i could help. All depends on when the project is due though, cause if its soon, i might not be able to get back to you in time for the help to be effective

Just have the words appear conveniently on a sheet of paper, or the dictionary was open with that key word.
My work here is, finally, done.
