I wonder if something like "earning" is ever known here online, but let's see if anyone of you could help me to get out of this puzzle.

Actually I'm interested in literary writing stuff, and thus running a blog. What is a shortcut way to get started with "adds income" or any other way if ever possible?

The one really effective way to make money on the internet is through porn. Literature isn't something that most people care about. Porn caters to everyone, except certain members of DDO.

If porn caters to most, I'm not going through that way, there are a lot more ways or even if there is no way, I'm not interested anymore to get this "money". Although Money also caters to most but I'm from few of those who actually do care for people. Poor People "need" to get out of this bad stuff.....doesn't matter even if they don't want to leave it, personally, still they actually need, hope you know it.

In all seriousness though, you should look passed any quick online earning scheme and think more long-term if making money online is something you want to do. There are tons of scams out there and you don't want to waste your time on those.

First get a decent education in any particular field that interests you.

After that there are several ways money can be made using the internet as a primary resource. I'd recommend sales of a tangible product (as opposed to "virtual products" which are a viable emerging industry unto themselves but an often more complex and tricky marketplace that has questionable long term viability - this is actually a fascinating topic for another time). Pick a product, a simple one will do, it doesn't have to be something particularly unique or "new", it just has to be of a decent quality and of a reasonable demand. Then market it aggressively but appropriately and develop a niche within your particular market.

And then you can make money online.

Otherwise, as YYW said, porn is probably the safest online market there is (though supply may actually exceed demand). Though I imagine competition and profit viability may make it difficult to make any real money on it.

And after that .........have to do the same things. (My Marketing Instructor had used to say: I couldn't find any margin to cut your marks...... and that's a glimpse of my decent education)

You provided a well structured strategy, but where will the supply chain come from? Are you suggesting me to work as an online retail store with existed launched brands?

Oh, leave this porn please. Don't you hate it.

Porn has traditionally weathered the storms that result in lean financial times in all other industries.

Porn was a major contributing factor to the rise of VHS and the failure of Betamax (though there were many other things), and Porn has traditionally been on the technological forefront.

BUT, the rise of the internet and free pornographic websites has actually hit the porn industry hard--it's no longer quite the money-making machine it used to be.

I don't think I am. As Bladerunner said, there's tons of free porn on the internet, so charging for it and making any money on it, would be difficult for someone just breaking into the internet porn industry.

Also to expand on what bladerunner said, the porn industry has had a lot of influence on media, not just with Beta and VHS as he said, but it also chose the standard by siding against HD DVD, which allowed Blue Ray to win as the high definition media standard. Though ultimately I don't think Blue Ray is the preferred medium for porn as most of it is now likely viewed entirely as downloaded digital content.

But the point is that porn is ubiquitous on the internet, so making any money off of it is not an easy thing to do. To actually make money off of it one has to use a different method than "pay-per-view" or subscription dynamics. I'm not an expert on internet pornography, but I imagine most money being made on it is for ad sales and marketing, rather than direct sales of the content itself.

I can't believe I'm actually talking about this on DDO, but in one of my undergrad classes we actually talked about the politics and economics of porn. While I won't say what class I had this in, I will say what I know for you:

(1) You're only likely to make money doing gay porn.

(2) You're especially likely to make money if you do gay fetish porn.

(3) You will be unemployable if you do (2) outside of the gay porn industry.

Your profile says you're 19. I assume that you're being honest, because I have no reason to believe otherwise. So, given that you're 19, you're legal.

There are certain male body types that are especially "likely" to make a lot of money, for 19 year olds. If you're slender, relatively hairless and your skin is clear then you're very likely to get hired.

The more you're willing to do on camera, the more likely you are to be paid.

But, knowing what profoundly little I do about that industry... there is a reason why so few people really put out high quality stuff. That's the kind of thing that follows you for the rest of your life. Your stage name will live in infamy...

I mentioned that in my post and the same problem exists. There are plenty of places for advertisers to advertise so creating a low overhead product that is appealing to advertisers that generates significant enough revenue isn't exactly simple. If it was, everyone (well, at least those without a problem generating income in this way) would do it.

Fair enough. I'm not saying this is a viable career alternative, but it's an easy way to make a few hundred bucks in a fix. Some even pay cash up front...

hmm I admit I was only considering this from a web development/management perspective and not actually being actively involved in the production itself...

So that being the case, without knowing enough about the industry I have no reason to disagree with you.... So want to make money online OP, do porn. (I'm not actually suggesting you do this (and I strongly suggest you don't) - but as YYW has explained, it's probably the most plausible quick online money method)

Thanks for finally stating the respectful suggestion of "not doing porn" as I was continuously being surprised over your discussion. I mean, it's one-way decision of never doing porn etc (at least for me). And while asking for online money making methods, I implicitly consider others to ignore these "types" of ways. To my surprise, it was disgusting to discuss porn. Anyway I hope you also consider the sensitivity of my concerns. Regards!

It's really, really difficult to make money through blogging, because it's hard to get an audience. I personally make money through InboxDollars. I actually have already cashed in one check for thirty dollars before. It takes a long time to make the money unless you're proactive with it, but I like it.
