Does anybody else have pet snakes on this site? If not, why kinds of pets do you have?
(These links arent my snakes.. just what they look like)

I have a GTP (Green Tree Python): http://fc02.deviantart.net...

Nah man I wish I had a pet snake. In fact, you've inspired me to get one... first paycheck of my new job, straight to the pet store. :)

I wouldn't fancy a pet snake myself but I lived with my brother for a few months when I was 18 and he had a couple. I think they were pine snakes, quite long but skinny and not very menacing at all. I did tell him that if they got out and surprised me in the morning that I might stamp on their heads but of course I wouldn't have really.

I heard a mad story about a pet snake recently though, not sure how true it is or if it's urban myth. Basically some guy has some mean kind of snake (Boa or something) that he has had from birth and it's so tame that he lets it sleep curled up on the bottom of his bed.

One morning he wakes up to find himself eye to eye with his snake which is stretched out rigid on the bed alongside him. Alarmed by this strange behaviour, he calls the vet, concerned that his snake may be unwell.

The vet's response: "Get rid of it now! Get it out the house today! It's measuring you up to see if it has grown big enough to swallow you."

Talk about cold blooded.

I want a reticulated python so I can get it as big as I can and then eat it.

The string behind you, it's shiny and pretty.
Where is my string.
Give me because I don't know.
Give me your string.
Give me everything."

Some days you go through the rain, some days you feed on a tree frog. Whatever works.
