I hope that Bieber gets the maximum sentence the law allows for driving after consuming alcohol and taking drugs, speeding, resisting arrest, driving without a valid licence (and therefore insurance). They should make an example of him.

Does anyone know if being an incredibly nauseating, utterly talentless closet homosexual is illegal in Florida? If so, he could be in jail for quite some time.

Whatever, they should take the opportunity to lock him up and throw away the key.

Also, they should ban his "music" from being played in public ever again.

And, if he is ever released, they should deport him back to Canada. Of course he'll never be able to travel abroad as most countries won't grant visas to people with criminal records - actually, you could say that all his records are criminal anyway but, unfortunately, that doesn't count with immigration officials.

Well, I do agree that these latest charges against Beiber are pretty alarming. If he was drinking and driving, that isn't something that should be dismissed. The same if he was in the possession of illegal drugs. I certainly don't condone any of the behavior he's been accused of with these latest allegations.

But he has certain rights as a resident alien. He can't be deported out of the country unless it can be demonstrated in the immigration courts that he's broken specific laws that would warrant such actions. The bar is actually pretty high for this to occur. Now, if he were accused of selling narcotics I could see this as good grounds to deport him; if he killed someone while driving under the influence - that would be another good reason.

However, should the government ever take any action against him to deport him, he does have a right to due process in the immigration courts.

For a list of reasons that would qualify someone to lose his green card, check out this website:

Technically the government could move to deport Justin Beiber if it felt that a conviction of these latest charges reflected enough aggravated intent in his behavior. But that decision would be up to the USCIS.

Typically a DUI is not considered sufficient grounds to deport somebody, unless other aggravating factors were involved.
