I am currently listening to "Wide Open Spaces" by the Dixie Chicks...just finished their cover of "Landslide." I'm just in that sort of a mood today, and it just occurred to me to ask what are you currently listening to, or what was the last thing you listened to? Post a vid if you want.

Beware of the people who are in your circle but are not in your corner.

And with the stroke of a pen people 18 to 21 who own a gun became criminals and public enemy #1 having committed no crime and having said nothing. Just like the Jews in Germany during WW2. Must be a weird feeling.

When I hear people crying and whining about their first world problems I think about the universe with everything in it and people in wheelchairs and all of their problems go away.

Today I've been stuck on Applause, Donatella, and Artpop by Lady Gaga. I also am listening to Katy Perry's new single, shown here...I keep thinking dirty thoughts about YYW every time I hear the song, which may be why I keep listening to it.

I'm listening to some Nine Inch Nails The Doors. I've included three specific songs.

I love the instrumentals!

Yeah, I love how unique they manage to make each song. Plus Shiina Ringo (the singer) is noted as a fantastic lyricist. The depth and frankness of her material is astounding at times, when you read a good translation.

Today I'm listening to Frou Frou

My playlist right now:

Good choices. I've been all over the place. Yesterday it was Dixie Chicks, Brooks and Dunn, Jonny Cash, and Brad Paisely. Today it was Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, and (some) Shakira.

Cool! Some of the instrumentals are reminiscent to me of jazz, which is really cool. The lyrics are good!

Okay, so I would've listened to Womanizer even without coercion...but Work B*tch and Toxic I both dislike. My friend wants to expand my Britney knowledge...and is also trying to introduce me to a bunch of other artists, from Bjork to Elton John.
