In a hypothetical situation where all you can do is listen to some music, what, up to 5 songs, would you listen to for eternity?

Nothing beats a great movie soundtrack, and these are my favourite six. Nothing makes you feel more like a badass than some Hans Zimmer with some John Murphy on the side, with a nice helping of Zack Hemsey to spoil yourself.

Oh, if it is only five then take away the first one, Zack Hemsey, Evolution. It is great and a brilliant piece of work, but doesn't emotionally impact me as much as the others.

Some songs are really good, but they can get old quick if you listen to them too much. Other songs are average, but you can listen to them over and over and not get tired of them. So I'd choose songs that don't get old rather than songs that are necessarily great. Here's a few songs that I've been listening to for decades that have never gotten old, so I'd choose these:

1. The Boxer by Simon and Garfunkle.
2. Sound of Silence by Simon and Garfunkel
3. Peaceful Easy Feeling by the Eagles
4. Lying Eyes by the Eagles
5. Sweet Baby James by James Taylor

Khachaturian: Adagio from Spartacus

Rachmaninov: Piano Concerto No. 2

Debussy: Claire de Lune

Ralph Vaughan Williams: The Lark Ascending

Mozart: Requiem (Lacrimosa is my favorite part)
"The Collectivist experiment is thoroughly suited (in appearance at least) to the Capitalist society which it proposes to replace. It works with the existing machinery of Capitalism, talks and thinks in the existing terms of Capitalism, appeals to just those appetites which Capitalism has aroused, and ridicules as fantastic and unheard-of just those things in society the memory of which Capitalism has killed among men wherever the blight of it has spread."
