He likes every one of her status' it's quite amusing
obsession - minus reflection, leads to mass confusion
but let us examine further, this odd phenomenon -
of flirting with girls from a distance - and for too long.
If it is merely a friendship, that he is seeking from you
Then ask him out on a date, and watch what he will do.
He will ask if you're serious, and then quickly say yes
Then you will know he only cared for what is under the dress
No "friend" needs to remind someone - on a daily basis
that they are alive by liking every status - no matter how tasteless
The problem with you - is you enjoy the attention
and like right back with undisclosed intention
thus the cycle begins of pointless liking and flirting
until she kisses someone else, and now you are hurting
Do not fret, do not freak, do not cry, do not hurt
for a girl is as common as a speck of dirt
Chase her with all your might, if that is a must
but a slut does not deserve a minute of time nor trust
Heed my words, for someday you will find
a girl who challenges - and compliments your mind
she will not be dirt, but rather a gem
who cares not for boys, but only for men
She won't want sex, she will want to make love
She would rather stay in, than go to the club
She won't need alcohol to drown her sorrows
She will be as beautiful as the morning dew of tomorrow
She won't be jealous or need validation
and can save herself, when her self needs saving
I expect the same, from any true man
for you get what you give - the law of the land
these boys find purpose from having sex with girls
a man finds purpose in sharing his world
a boy will tell you what he thinks you want to hear
a man will hold you close, and help you overcome your fear
a boy will break some hearts, a man has already had his broken
that pain remains with him, a life-long token
If he dares to date again, he is a man ready to take the dive
and will need nothing short of a woman, to keep him alive
To know the pain of love, to experience the hurt
perhaps this is what motivates the heart-broken to make it work
If you are ready as a man, then by all means chase away
But there are three things I must do, before I allow myself to play:
I need to own some land, upon which - I may rest my bones
For how can a man find a wife without a house to make a home
Secondly, a business, I must own and find success
otherwise I might not be able to purchase my wife her favorite dress
Last but not least - I must conquer myself
for an enemy within, is not true inner wealth
Once I have done these three things, I suggest you prepare
Because if I have, and you haven't, you will never compare.
But this isn't about you, this is not a singular issue
~don't chase the wrong person, or the right one might miss you~

WOAH!! This is really deep! I like it! I can see your heart from this. Good job! But more so, good job on your heart intentions! I see success! :)
Better than deserved, as ALWAYS.

God Chooses Life might be suggestin' somethin',
bein' the only one right here in this thread postin',
sure she had no wink face, she was all serious
askin' Blade-of-truth carefully, not a hint of delirious,

but the theme and mood of the poem made king
all sad and gloomy with absolutely no glee,
so he had to create a joke with something
that allowed him to smile and cackle at she,

for GCL is nowhere to be found, has she quit DDO?
Nobody knows, she might as well as turned into jello.
Blade is left curious to her emotions,
whether they exist or they're just illusions!

BOO-YAH!!

Wow. How do you do it? How do you write. I have been wanting to write lyrics to some music I wrote, but I am struggling. Nothing happens.

I know your not asking me, but key is, don't think. Just write.

Honestly, I just listen to my heart. Alot of times we let external influences guide our words... it's when you sit in the quiet and let your inner voice speak that allows such things. You have to feel, instead of think. For me, this was a result of extreme passion. I was upset about something, went into my room to sit in silence, and just started writing. I didn't stop... I just kept going and going and when I was finally done, this was the result. I didn't think about it at all, I just let it happen.
