I am paying thousands of dollars to go to college, get an education, and then make maybe $20 an hour (if I am lucky).

My girl friend is a high school drop-out, is still working on a GED, and is making $90 an hour (no work in summers though).

When I look at this, I can see that college is bull****. It really makes me think that it is not worth it.

It's worth it if you're smart and your parents/scholarships pay for everything.

She works in a factory. It TECHNICALLY isn't $90 an hour, but she gets $15 every time she completes her part of the process. It currently takes her around 10 minutes for each part. The last person that had this job (but got fired) was able to get his part completed in about 3-4 minutes.

Being a stripper is off the table for you. Just keep dating strippers and siphoning off their money and be happy that you get $20 an hour when more than half of Americans don't.

Not long, but her grandfather owns it.

Eh, she got lucky due to nepotism. I don't think that high school dropouts are usually that successful.

PhD in Ancient Civilizations... The only job you will likely get with this degree is replacing teaching/professor that taught it to you and if you're super lucky a 3 minute cameo here and there on the history channel. And if you're really really lucky someone might publish something you wrote about it, assuming it hasn't already been covered nine ways to Sunday. The future millionaires are electricians, plumbers, auto mechanics and AC techs. But be advised you should move to a right to work state so you can learn how to do it on the job. It's like getting paid to go to school and a guaranteed job for the rest of your life.
It's not your views that divide us, it's what you think my views should be that divides us.

If you think I will give up my rights and forsake social etiquette to make you "FEEL" better you are sadly mistaken
