Highly recommended.

Can't say I've listened to that drunk or otherwise, but I have listened to "In Da Gadda Da Vida " by Iron Butterfly while stoned.

And the Moody Blues, Clapton, The Who, and several others. :-)

Interesting, I'll give it that. It reminds me of a friend from high school that would have me list to Daft Punk (I never knew who it was, I just remembered the "faster stronger better harder" song and went to look it up for this post, weird). But then, I had another friend whose dad would watch AC/DC concerts on DVD and I didnt cRe for them, but now I like a number for their songs.

AC/DC is some classic shiit. You can't deny that.

It's like... Led Zeppelin or something.

But, Massive Attack. It is just right at the moment.

What are you drinking on?

I'm drinking shots of SoCo and Victory Ale.

Perhaps that has something to do with it.

Because, let me tell you -- if this were Jose Cuervo Silver, I wouldn't be even able to pay attention. It's vagina, loud music (like say, Deadmau5) accompanied with lights and shiit, or nothing.

Leading to the belief, in my inebriated mind, that it depends.

I have never found that there is any real difference based on "what I drink" but rather who I drink with (mostly alone vs with friends). Ethanol is ethanol, biologically speaking.

Naw, there's differences. Strength, quality of the liquor, the amount of times it was filtered, and the byproducts of fermentation all affect how your system takes the alcohol, what it does it with it, and how you feel.

It's not your views that divide us, it's what you think my views should be that divides us.

If you think I will give up my rights and forsake social etiquette to make you "FEEL" better you are sadly mistaken

If liberal democrats would just stop shooting people gun violence would drop by 90%

Thank You!!!!

I love both Classical and Classic Rock.

Haven't been stoned in 30+ years, but am starting to wonder what Samuel Barber's "Adagio for Strings" would be like under those conditions. :-)

It's excellent. Just like everything else when stoned.

Once during a family conference, when I was little... I snuck into the lounge and stole a glass of wine. I don't know what they were drinking exactly.. but it was some hard stuff for an eight year old. I'm not even sure it was wine. But that stuff sent me on a trip, man. Haven't touched anything illegal since. True story.

Wine is not illegal. Neither is Jose Cuervos. But I get your point. That's way I haven't touched weed in 30+ years. But I still wonder!!! :-)

I have achieved ALMOST the same state, lying in bed, lights off, headphones on, trying to block out all other of the 5 senses but sound . I can come pretty close, both with Rock and Classical.

Absolutely. I have severe anxiety and panic attacks, so I self-medicate with marijuana. "Adagio for Strings" is a beautiful song both sober and stoned. My absolute favorite though, especially when stoned, is Pachelbel Canon in D minor.

I'll write that one down and check it out! Thanks!

I (amateur) play guitar. Nylon strings, classical style guitar, most any type music. My favorite song to play is Gordon Lightfoot :"If You Could Read My Mind ".

Saw Gordon live last February.

Best concert I ever went to : Tina Turner - 24/7 Tour, MGM Grand Las Vegas, 2001. That lady has it ALL!!!!!
