I've seen a few trailers, seemed to lack the whole light hearted interaction while still having that pathos that's in the cartoon.

I understand that m. night admitted that he had a difficult time writing the script and it's extremely obvious, it's blatant and repetitive. All the mystery is lost, even children would find it boring and slow. There was no rising action, no climax and on top of all of that all humor was lost. It's almost as if he had to try to make it bad. It's failure lies solely on the shoulders of Shyamalan, he wrote the script, directed the movie, and produced it. It's simply awful

I really got excited when I heard it was coming to theaters, but the previews look terrible. The kid who plays Aang does not suit the character well (from what I have seen of the trailers). The kid just looks annoying and his voice is nothing like I would imagine from the cartoon character in real life.

Trailers make it look like Just Another Martial Art Movie.

It's only book one, so no. But the northern water tribe princess is hot
