What do you do? You like the guy, he is with another guy and serious about it, you tell him you like him, but he is non respondent (is that a word?). I am just waiting, respecting their boundaries, and still flirting a bit. I guess the relationship world is new to me. But what would you guys do? Any REALISTIC ideas? I just am trying to find my legs, so to speak.

Can I give advice as if you were trying to get a girl and not a dude?

How about no mention of sex? We can call them "that person". Fair?

I would start by not flirting with tarzan, he plays hard to get.

Isn't he engaged? I was just being honest not flirty. Why would he play hard to get, given he's engaged?Where did he come up?

Because "awesome" aka "good" guys don't get far in person, so they spend a lot of time on the internet? ha idk.

Yea, it's sad. I'll probably never meet these guys either. My dad seems to have issues with being over-protective... Funny, considering we're quite distanced.

I suppose, but my limited mobility is a problem atm too. There is a guy in New Jersey who has already been inviting to come for like a couple months now.

Forget about him. Go for someone else. Life is short. Have fun playing the field. Don't be committed. There are millions of fish in your sea.

Maybe you should suck it up! My goodness, at least you can be honest about your sexuality with your parents. Maybe try dating where you live! And if those people lie on their profiles, maybe you should stop trying to get too know them.

I won't date here. I can't find any guys I'm interested in. Perhaps I'm just being fussy or narrow-minded, but I am yet to find somebody. Too much of the small town mentality here is just to party every night, get drunk/high, and have sex. I'm not into that type of thing and these guys I have met online aren't either. Really the only clean people I have come across are Mormons.
