I've noticed that DDO users go away at summer. I was wondering why that is? People in Hong Kong are usually more active in summer, lol.

My best guess is that you guys return to your family in the countryside in summer. Is that true? (In Hong Kong, people go back to visit their relatives too, but they don't usually go for the whole summer... and I don't have to because both my grandfathers were orphans and I have no idea who my relatives might be, except the city they're from.

People may have been using school computes that they have to return for the summer

That could be the explanation... but wouldn't they still be able to go to the library? Now, I know transport networks in the US aren't so good and people have to travel by car everywhere, but can't they still log on once in a while, rather than disappearing completely?

In any case, do American schools really allow students to access DDO? (Then again, it *is* pretty easy to pretend you're looking up info for a school project, lol)

There's a lot of school kids on this website and they lose internet access, because they're away from their school's computer's during the summer.

They don't really moniter a lot of what you're doing though they say they do. I've used DDO to do lots of school projects and I even got my history teacher to think I was actually debating Ron Paul, Shout out to Subutai.

"return to your family in the countryside" Very few people live in the countryside LOL. This reminds me of when my relatives from Sweden who had never been to the US thought everyone lived on huge parcels of land. They had a total Hollywood impression of Texas and everything was huge. It was funny to see the disappointment in their faces to realize the US isn't even remotely like Hollywood's portrayal.
It's not your views that divide us, it's what you think my views should be that divides us.

Lol :P Your history teacher doesn't appear to be very Internet-savvy! If I debated you and showed my Dad the debate, it's very unlikely that he'll think I'm debating Rand Paul, lol.

What? :O :O You mean you guys don't live on farms?!?!?

I'm kidding of course - I'm aware the majority of Americans don't live in Western movies - but I thought it might be possible...
