Its from 4chan? I thought some guy played it with his friends and it spread and eventually became part of the internet.

Not sure if it could, or does somehow have a deeper meaning, but I'm sure if you look hard enough everything could.

If you think too hard about it, you lose.

Thinking kills you?

It is my belief that a life is pointless if you don't enjoy it.

If you think too much about life, you'll only get depressed.

Actually thinking hard, harder then normal, tends to make me less depressed./

Agreed.

It depends on what you mean. Thinking about philosophy doesn't get me depressed, but enthused. However, thinking too much about my personal life does cause me stress and grief, so I just try not to think about it and live life.

So what do you think of the Game being a metaphor for life?

GTFO troll feeder then. Don't respond to trolls by calling them trolls. If you think someone is trolling, just ignore them.
Telling them they are a troll is counter-productive.

Mmk, I won't tell you that you're a troll then.

This is a troll line. You know the drill

The Game represents a profound hatred for volition, its sense of life is the Byronic malevolent universe, save that the protagonist is mocked rather than treated as a tragic hero.
It came to be at its height. It was commanded to command. It was a capital before its first stone was laid. It was a monument to the spirit of man.

In other words, yes, it is intended as a metaphor for life. By people who hate life, themselves, and the universe, but for whom it can't even be said that they have the courage to opt out of their misery.

By aesthetic analysis (games are a form of art, art is the selective recreation of reality according to metaphysical and value judgments). Reality (life) as the creator of The Game sees it, is nothing but a doom to a terrible fate, not subject to volition, or there would be no need to subvert the notion of "Game" with a predetermined loss.

Interesting. It could be religious. You burn in hell for what you do (think) or you remain ignorant/innocent and nothing bad happens. The more people you pread it to the worse it gets and the worse of a person you are.
